Simón Gollo is recognized as a multifaceted and charismatic musician who enjoys a successful international career as a chamber musician, pedagogue, soloist, and conductor. He is also a recording artist for the international recording label IBS Classical, and is represented, alongside the Reverón Piano Trio, by HALAC Artists and Meluk Kultur Management).  ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Simón Gollo’s extraordinary journey as an artistic director began at just 20, when he founded Venezuela’s premier chamber music festival, the Festival y Academia del Nuevo Mundo, which he led from 2000 to 2012. He then directed the Aruba Music Festival for five editions before taking on the role of Artistic Director at the New England Music Camp at the Snow Pond Center for the Arts in the United States. At all these festivals and camps, Simón Gollo had the privilege of hosting illustrious figures such as the Borodin Quartet, Benjamin Zander, Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Jean-Pierre Wallez, the Cuarteto Latinoamericano, Pacho Flores, Gabriela Montero, Edicson Ruiz, Jeffrey Biegel, and many other prominent names in the international music scene.

The Reverón Piano Trio offered a concert that captivated the audience with a repertoire full of contrasts and sensitivity. The evening ranged from the delicate romantic melodies of Fanny Mendelssohn to the contemporary and folkloric strength of Gabriela Lena Frank, highlighting her work Canto a María Angola, which evokes the resounding of one of the largest bells in South America through the piano.

The Reverón Piano Trio’s main goal is to introduce audiences to underrepresented music from Latin America alongside contemporary and standard repertoire. These artists are active promoters of Latin American music through their work as performing artists, scholars and entrepreneurs, and they have devoted their careers to the discovery, cataloging, performance, editing, and recording of this rich repertoire.
